Centacare Finance CommitteeThe Centacare Finance Committee is accountable to the Bishop of Rockhampton, through the Centacare Council, and meets monthly with the Diocesan Director and the Corporate Services Manager to review the budget, cash flows and risks. During 2008–2009, the Committee Members were: - Philip Bauman (Chair)

Internal Control FrameworkWhile acknowledging responsibility for the overall internal framework, the Centacare Council recognises there is no cost–effective internal control system that will preclude all errors or irregularities.
To ensure accountability and sound corporate governance practices, the Council continued to maintain:
- a Finance Committee to assess the financial decisions, review the budget and cash flow; and
- minutes of all meetings for the Council committees, special interest groups and project groups.
Centacare has maintained operations in accordance with the Constitution. We seek to provide as accurate information as possible based on written procedures, policies and guidelines through an organisational structure that provides appropriate division of responsibility and accountability as well as the appropriate selection and training of personnel.
Reporting to Applicable AuthoritiesCentacare reports its state of affairs and operations to relevant authorities in accordance with funding agreements.
